Susan’s songs have featured in the finals of Song Contests this year (2010)

In May, The Peace Within was runner-up in the Sandra James Song Contest (USA)
(see www.sandrajames.com)

and in July, “Lost In Time”, a song which she co-wrote with California -based songwriter Debra Farris reached the finals of the Glinsk Song Contest in Co. Galway.

Susan has been writing with Dublin-based songwriter Andrew Basquille recently and their most recent song “In Love With Falling In Love” is featured here.
It was produced in Nashville by renowned producer Rick Chudacoff who also produced “Gentle Father”, Susan’s song about her late father.

In May of this year (2009) Susan was pleased to be a finalist in the Tipperary Song of Peace Contest.

Tipperary peace Convention has a proud tradition of promoting peace at a National and International level and the annual song contest is undoubtedly one of the highlights.

Susan’s entry "The Peace Within" was performed by rock singer Johnny Brady from Antrim, N. Ireland, Debra Farris from Santa Barbara, California USA and Claudia Clendinning from Richhill, N. Ireland.

Co-Writing
Susan is presently writing with Santa Barbara -based singer/songwriter Debra Farris.
The writers met at the Taxi Road Rally in Los Angeles in November last year (2008) and have been collaborating ever since.
They are presently recording new material, some of which was written during Debra’s first visit to Ireland in April and May of this year.
Susan and Debra hope to feature their songs here commencing November 2009.
